Not the one with Steve McQueen.
It was ridiculous!
I like the idea - movie with one big chase (like original Gone in Sixty Seconds), but that plot is really, really awful. I think that they got the car, got the actors, got whole city and didn't know what do do next.
The car. Shelby GT500 Super Snake was the biggest star for sure. Look at that color scheme... Next Eleanor?
If you want to see some action including powerful muscle car and old BMW police cars in a beautiful city, all mixed up with a stupid plot, it's movie for you.
I think I need to watch some Getaway in Stockholm now.
Any thoughts?

I also saw this movie last weekend. I used to own a S197 (shameless plug) and I had dreams about the SuperSnake...
I watched the movie, saw the 6 badly disguised stunt cars, and shuddered.. I didn't like the action scenes, I didn't like the "sound".. (high pressure scenes, where lots of throttle was required, you couldn't hear the supercharger, etc.)
Details count, and the Getaway fails. Miserably.
Selena Gomez SUCKS as an actress.

I couldn't help but notice that he never stopped to fill up for gas. How long could a Shelby gt500 go at full throttle for seemingly hours. Also heat soak, and brake pad fade? And he must of got hit 30 times and the car had no visable damage

just saw it today, I made a post and then decided to look for older ones, IT SUCKS. I want my 2 hours of my life back. I love mustangs but this movie is just awful. I was really really bored 40 min before it ended
